  • Do you do moves?

While we do not offer packing or moving services- Tidy Soul can help make your new house a (beautiful) home in the unpacking phase.

  • What is the process like?

First a video call to understand your goals, next an in home consultation to truly configure a plan and quote for your project. Then we begin service with categorization, followed by declutter, and haul away of any donations or trash/recycle. After this step we make it look pretty! Light and eco-friendly cleaning to get things shiny, every item finds it’s home, we shop for and add supplies as desired (containers, labels, lazy-susans, etc). Ending with a conversation to assure your satisfaction and discuss tips to keep new systems in place.

*professional junk removal may be necessary for larger projects or items- we are happy to help arrange this

  • Will our work together be confidential?

Of course. We understand the vulnerable nature of this work and any conversations, testimonials, or photos will only be shared with your explicit permission.

  • Is Tidy Soul LLC bonded and insured?

Yes and yes!

  • Should I tidy up before my session?

No need! We are 100% judgement free and actually prefer to see your space as is. That will allow us to better understand your daily routines and challenges, to design systems tailored to that.

  • Do I need to be present?

Not necessarily. We will engage with you at certain stages of the project, primarily in the declutter phase. If you are away this will look like us sending you photos for feedback (even a video chat if that’s an option) or leaving homework for you to complete between sessions. We are also happy to work beside you if you prefer to be more involved.

  • What is a “declutter” and am I required to do it?

Decluttering is when you decide what to keep or toss/donate. While we encourage letting go of items that no longer serve you or your space, you will never be pressure to part with anything you aren’t ready to let go of. Even in a fuller space we can design systems that look great.

  • Do I need to buy storage?

Only if you chose to. We always start by assessing what you already have that can be repurposed. If additional supplies are needed we will find options that fit both your aesthetic and budget.

  • Cost and payment details?

Cost varies per project considering the size, location, amount of clutter, if any supplies shopping is needed, etc. This will all be determined after our consultation where you’ll be given a base quote. We will keep receipts of any supplies purchased, which will be added to the invoice as well. You approve of all purchases beforehand.

Invoices will be sent upon project completion and can be paid via credit card, Apple Pay, Link, or direct debit. Cash and Zelle payments may also be feasible upon request.
